ARTIST STATEMENT

 SHAPE ME

- The installation is about the differences of generation between Gen Y and Z.

- The installation are using the texture of fashion in the generation, and compare the different generation people by putting side by side to give a feeling that the differences of the generation.

- The installation can give people interact with by pressing each of the different shape of button, to the show the difference effect of the emotion, color, shape, and the texture.

- The color represent the emotion or an action.

- The color is base on the Korean film generation Y and Z and compare with the color of the emotion to determine the final color that using.

- The shape is base on the aspiration of the generation, Gen Y is freedom and flexibility, and Gen Z is security and stability.

-Why the installation name call "SHAPE ME" it is because the name can give a feeling like shaping the differences of the generation, and you can have your own flow to play with the installation, this can be represent as the "ME".
