Evolution Of Behaviour

For my artwork, I will be focusing on this topic.

Comparing Generation Z & X Lifestyle Behaviours

Gen Z

It is certain that connectivity will be an integral part of the Generation Z lifestyle.

Being the first “always connected” generation. With information at their fingertips + communicate through social media / video calls/ new media tech.

Their communities will be more diverse with close to half of the population made up of racial or ethnic minority groups. And cultural integration will have reach its comfort level.

Gen X

This generation was more conservative directed. Majority of the population was highly dependant on major mass medium. Due to the inabundence of mediums and also information is not as accessible as how generation Z has it. In terms of communication they communicate through traditional mediums such as phone calls/letters/radio.

The communities they are in are less racially integrated but instead they live in assimilation culturally. Quite diverse in racial terms but not as open yet as generation Z.

Through these facts that I have collected through studies that I have read through blogs & articles.

I would like to share my conclusion to my research.

I found that as generations pasts, these future torchbearers are constantly evolving.
In sense that, they are evolving through behaviours. An evolution in social knowledge & responsibilty, cultural integration tolerance & in the way their emotions work as well. (comparing this to Generation X & Z) from their previous heir.

Therefore I would like to relate my soon to be artwork with the term of evolution in behaviours.

Precedent Studies.

The idea was to generate a 2.0 DIY project based on experimental digital processes as a contemporary expression. As a result, the clips developed as a "Graphic Artillery" are combined into a wide range of editable after effects projects that can be operated within the TV station and can evolve infinitely

The reason i was inspired by these artworks is not by the message, but more toward the visual style that was implemented in the video. The Graphics seem like they are constantly evolving and progresses throughout the entire performance.
